U.S. Sen. John S. McCain 3rd, R-Ariz., announced Monday that a handful of Massachusetts Republicans will serve on his presidential state exploratory committee, including state Rep. Paul J.P. Loscocco, R-Holliston, who will serve as one of his co-chairmen.

The announcement was made in a news release a day before former Gov. Mitt Romney announced in Michigan that he is running for president.
