ARTIST Ronald Harrison is exhibiting his work at the Cape Town Visual Arts Festival at St George’s Cathedral until March 24.

Titled Black Christ and The Spirit of Albert Luthuli Collection, the exhibition was conceived after Harrison’s persecution and torture in 1962, when he depicted former ANC leader Chief Albert Luthuli as Christ being crucified by then prime minister Hendrik Verwoerd and justice minister John Vorster.
