The majority of funds on Standard Life's self-invested personal pension platform are more expensive than those on the Hargreaves Lansdown platform, even in cases where funds are managed by Standard Life, according to Hargreaves Lansdown

The comparison found that of the 102 funds available on the Standard Life platform, 89 matched up with those available through the Hargreaves Lansdown product.

In 50 of these 89 funds, Hargreaves Lansdown made lower charges to their clients than Standard Life. In two of these cases, the funds were managed by Standard Life; ...
