Girl Scouts stay on course: Program continues to thrive on 95th anniversary.

Mar. 12--For 95 years, the Girl Scouts' focus has been on "cookies, camping and crafts."
Luann Martinez, the chief operating officer for the Scouts' Columbine Council in Pueblo, prefers to look at the girls program also as being about "courage, confidence and character."
Today (March 12) marks Girl Scouts of the USA's 95th birthday. Juliette Gordon Low started that first Girl Scout troop on March 12, 1912, in Savannah, Ga.
