APD celebrates 75th, anniversary.(Alice Peck Day Hospital)(Brief article)

Alice Peck Day Hospital in Lebanon recently kicked off its yearlong 75th anniversary celebration with a reception for APD's employees and community friends highlighted by the hanging of a 75th anniversary banner at the hospital entrance.
Alice Peck Day, who was born and raised in APD's Homestead Building, bequeathed the family home to found a cottage hospital in 1927. Dr. Arthur Burnham, one of the area's leading physicians, helped lead the drive to incorporate the hospital, and in February 1932. APD opened its doors for the first time.
