THE shock news that Holy Roman Emperor has been drafted in to replace George Washington at stud is likely to reverberate throughout the industry for some time to come, but at Coolmore at least it is business as usual as the stud's newest recruit begins his second career.
Coolmore's Richard Henry confirmed Holy Roman Emperor has already successfully covered mares "like an old pro". Henry also added that Holy Roman Emperor will be advertised, making him available to any mares not already covered this season, although a fee has not yet been set.
