PRINCETON - The Board of Selectmen unanimously approved Police Chief Charles P. Schmohl's request to lease a new police cruiser to replace the 2003 Crown Victoria that was totaled in an accident.

The board also agreed to support the Parks and Recreation Committee's request to hire a recreation director in fiscal 2008 in order to offer programs for children and adults.

Chief Schmohl requested that he be permitted to order the cruiser right away, rather than wait for the annual town meeting, even though the totaled car was slated to be replaced ...
