Pres. Bill Clinton says that he has been looking forward to speaking with Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir bin Mohamad. Clinton says that Malaysia's tremendous accomplishments in the past several years can be attributed to Mahathir's leadership and that the US wants to establish closer relations with Malaysia. He discloses that the US is closely monitoring the volatile situation in Haiti. Clinton refuses to comment when asked a question about a lawsuit filed against him by former Arkansas State employee Paula Jones.
