DANAE Vetter, the little leukaemia patient who captured the hearts of so many local people, has died.
"Ironically, she did not fall victim to leukaemia directly, but to a hospital-bound infection called Pseudomonas Aeruginosa," said her grieving parents, Sheldon and Maureen Vetter, yesterday.
"Initially, this bacteria was detected in her blood but soon lodged itself in the cerebrospinal fluid and eventually went to the brain to cause pseudomonas meningitis."
The infection robbed her of all her energy and she daily grew ...
