Feb. 23--DUBLIN -- So similar are the defenses played by George Wythe and Galax that they almost look like the same team at times. The similarities tend to end as the game unfolds.

Fact is, the Maroons are just a little bit better at what they do than the Maroon Tide.

George Wythe showed its skills again by beating Galax Thursday night for the third time this season, 83-64 in the semifinals of the Group A Region C tournament.
