Hannah Arendt's essay published as 'Philosophy and Politics' in 1990 conflicts the work she published in her lifetime in its belief in a Socratic individual who can change both politics and people. Arendt states that all individuals can be shocked with a philosophical wonder of the universe that alienates them from their fellow men.
