Feb. 19--A custodian at Paxinosa Elementary School in Forks Township has been called a hero by the school's principal for aiding a student who was choking in the cafeteria. Principal David Hightower told the Easton Area School Board last week it was his honor to recognize the prompt action by Joseph Corpora, who has worked at the school for four years. Hightower said last month a student who couldn't talk or breathe but was able to gesture came up to Corpora, who was on cafeteria duty. He said no one noticed the problem the child was having, ...
