Feb. 13--STOCKTON -- Former City Manager Mark Lewis has been hired by Reno to manage construction and renovation, particularly in the downtown. Lewis, who was fired by the Stockton City Council last year, will administer a $7.4million Redevelopment Agency budget, officials said. The Reno post is a lesser one than Lewis had in Stockton: The "Biggest Little City in the World" is smaller than Stockton, and Lewis will work for a city manager, not be one.
