BRITISH buyers in search of a holiday home in a more traditional corner of Spain are exploring the quieter Aragon region in the northeast.
While this vast area won't appeal to those who want bustling towns and beaches - it is a landlocked area with only 1.5million inhabitants - it is surrounded by majestic mountains, including the Pyrenees bordering France to the north and the isolated eastern Sierra de Gudar.
But for househunters, there are still bargains to be found, with old, unmodernised stone houses with plenty of land ...
