Matthew Modine takes the title role in ``Jacob,'' a two-hour telemovie beginning at 8 ET tonight on TNT. Lara Flynn Boyle, best-known for her portrayal of Donna Hayward on the ``Twin Peaks'' series, portrays Jacob's favorite wife, Rachel.
