Sprint is to launch a Wireless Integration product combining PBX features and mobile-phone functionality.

The product includes a feature to provide one phone number to a user, which concurrently rings both the mobile phone and desk phone, along with one joint enterprise voicemail inbox. It also expands conferencing and call forwarding features of the PBX in the cellphone, offering all the desk phone functionality.

With PBX functionality, wireless phones can now turn into full-featured desk phone substitutes.
