Vodafone Germany has released the HTC Herald Windows Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition as VPA compact IV. This HTC Herald is almost identical to HTC s 2.5G follower of the HTC Wizard, as both devices support 2.5G but not 3G. Additionally, both devices have a slide-out keyboard; the Herald now boasts of a semiautomatic sliding mechanism.
