The Persian Gulf States announced plans to end their secondary boycott against Israel and the companies that do business with Israel. The move is seen as largely political, as many international companies that had Arab ties nevertheless still traded with Israel. The United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Quatar, Oman, and Saudi Arabia are discussing measures beyond the end of the boycott to further trade with Israel.
