IF you've picked up a newspaper this week, you'll know the Oscar nominations are out.
It might seem odd for a film critic to admit this (although if you're a regular reader, you'll realise I'm not much of a film critic), but I've always thought it's a bit odd that we reward actors who get paid millions for doing their job well.
It's not that far from giving out gongs to highly-paid fat cat CEOs. Although they've already got their own version called the Honours List.
