City power broker Donald Manes, whose reign as the "king of Queens" ended in scandal and suicide, was remembered at his funeral Sunday as a "fine family man" dedicated to his work and constituents.
"He was a man who devoted himself over a long career to the people of Queens and his family, and he left a great mark in both areas. He ought to be remembered as such," his attorney, Michael Armstrong, said after the service for the former boroughpresident.
