There was a time when organists looked down on the venerable instrument in the Auditorium at Round Lake. During the height of the Baroque craze, nobody seemed to be interested in an organ that didn't have thin, edgy foundation stops, screechy mixtures and raspy reeds. The dark sonorities at Round Lake didn't qualify.
