WATERFORD - The Tugboat Buffalo will have a new owner this month when the town takes title to the Erie Canal workhorse from the New York State Canal Corp.
In preparation for the transfer, the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Wire was at the Harbor Visitors Center on Aug. 24 and 25 to help local volunteers continue their work to restore the Buffalo and the Tugboat Chancellor.
