OWNING IT: Jack Dempsey matchbook.(Life-Style)

Forty years ago, Deborah Guynup and her brother struck a pose with Jack Dempsey at a table in the famed boxer's New York City restaurant. The photo was miniaturized and made into a commemorative matchbook cover that went on to become the jewel of Guynup's 30,000-strong matchbook collection. We met with Guynup at her Greenwich home, as her pet parrot - aching for attention - shrieked like a smoke alarm in the background.
