``Transition'' is a term often used in basketball. It is also something that is applicable to life. For Vince Medici, he is about to through a transition both on and off the court.
After spending nine seasons as the men's basketball coach at Hudson Valley, Medici is moving from one valley to another valley -- in the rolling hills of Otsego County -- to become the next men's basketball coach at the State University College at Oneonta.
