Jan. 17--With fans slowly beginning to find their way to the exits of the Salem High School gymnasium and 2:30 still left on the clock, a chant went up from a group of Hidden Valley students in the corner of the gym: "This game's over! This game's over!"

Blame Matt Partsch and the high-octane Hidden Valley offense for the swifter-than-expected resolution.

The senior forward delivered a game-high 33 points and Hidden Valley never trailed on the way to a 78-62 thrashing of River Ridge District-foe Salem.
