Ten-year-old Taylor Kirkpatrick grinned when her black-and-pink Hampshire hog won first place during the National Junior Market Swine Show.

While she wasn't sure the pig would win, she was certain it would make a good impression on the judge.

"I named her First Impression," Kirkpatrick said of her 231-pound pig that competed in Class 2 in the 230- to 234-pound category. "Her name kind of fits her."
