A BIRMINGHAM college has been named as one of two top sixth form colleges in the country for the standard of education it provides.
Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College, in Highgate, was recognised for its achievements by the Adult Learning Inspectorate - the government body responsible for the quality of education and training for adults and young people.
The award comes as Joseph Chamberlain College looks forward to construction of a new pounds 27 million building on a site at nearby Haden Circus.
