ANIMAL ABUSE CHARGE STEMS FROM CAT'S DEATH.(CAPITAL REGION)

SCHENECTADY -- A Union Street man faces at least one felony animal abuse charge after police said they followed a trail of blood along a sidewalk and up to the man's home on Friday morning.
Isaac Oliver, 58, of 404 Union St., was arraigned at Ellis Hospital after complaining of chest pains at the city lockup.
Police said the incident began Friday morning when a witness stopped a car on Union Street just before 10 a.m. and asked the driver to call police.
