The Fountain Restaurant's pizza is clearly a favorite among Capital Region folk. Or so I'd been told.

Consequently, on a recent trip to the longtime Albany establishment with my folks, I knew somebody was obligated to order one of their highly touted pies.

It was easy to settle into one of the quaint restaurant's comfortable booths, but not so easy for me to settle on pizza.

After all, the menu features a bevy of sandwiches, burgers and hot Italian dishes such as veal Parmesan and baked ziti.
