Jacques Loussier Trio - Bach The Brandenburgs

Brilliant! The Jacques Loussier Trio have once again proved to be masters of the classic jazz genre. This set of six Brandenburg concerti, written between 1708 and 1720, were, according to top jazz critic/writer Alyn Shipton, almost lost to the world when the Margarve of Brandenburg died in 1734. We owe a debt of gratitude to whoever found the scores, and hoorays all round for Loussier deciding to record the works.
