It was a simple plan, really.

Go to Alaska, work a year, make lots of money. Go home.

The three party girls met while waitressing at Lillian's Restaurant in Saratoga Springs. It was 1990. Between taking orders for drinks, entrees and desserts, they became friends.

``We were just having a good time in our 20s, doing the Saratoga scene,'' Erin Knotek, now 35, says.
