Dandelions are in dire need of a savvy spinmeister.
Until James Carville or someone of his ilk steps forward, however, dandelions will continue to be regarded as nature's most schizophrenic offering.
They are reviled as Public Enemy No. 1 by golf course superintendents and fastidious lawn owners everywhere. The weed that won't go away.
Yet dandelions are also edible and amazingly good for you. This bitter green perennial, high in fiber and rich in potassium and vitamin A, is one of the world's healthiest plants.
