LAKE GEORGE -- Charles J. `Papa Bear`, III, 66, of Konci Terrace, Lake George, died unexpectedly, after a courageous battle with a long illness, at Glens Falls Hospital on Wednesday, May 31, 2000. Born January 12, 1934, in Albany, he was the son of the late Charles J. Albert Jr. and Ethel M. (Schwind) Albert. He was also predeceased by a sister, Rosann (Albert) Ballato. Charles was better known as `Charlie Papa Bear`, president of the Lake George Polar Club. He was a long standing member of the Lake George Winter Carnival Committee.
