The 1.4 km wide and 2.4 km long prospect intrusion in New South Wales, Australia, is a doleritic laccolith containing genetically associated small, uneven and large shrinkage cavities. Continent crust fracturing and rift divergence zone formation are two indirect causes for the intrusion formation. Pyroxene, pectolite, prehnite, analcime, calcite, barite and opal are some of the significant minerals from the intrusion.
