One of Jim Bisch's favorite passages in the Bible is the letter from the apostle Paul to the Corinthians about love.

Love is patient, it begins. Love is kind.

The words that follow -- of a love that is never jealous, never boastful, never arrogant or cruel, but endures for eternity -- have been repeated countless times, and served for centuries as inspiration for selfless love.
