SUEK acquires blocking stake in Krasnoyarsk genco from Norilsk Nickel

MOSCOW. Jan 11 (Interfax) - Siberian Coal and Energy Company (SUEK) at the end of December increased its interest in OJSC Krasnoyarsk Generation to 35.35%, which will enable the No.1 Russian coal producer to obtain more than 31% of the equity in the TGK-13 territorial generating company, SUEK said in official materials.

SUEK earlier owned around 12.4% of Krasnoyarsk Generation and MMC Norilsk Nickel (RTS: GMKN) owned a blocking stake.
