REIDSVILLE-- Walter Daniel "Dan" Rakestraw Jr., 46, of 712 S. Main Street, died Saturday, January 6, 2007 at Annie Penn Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Smyrna Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Dan was born in Guilford County to Walter Daniel "W.D." Rakestraw Sr. and Dorothy Dove "Dot" Rakestraw. He was self-employed in the computer field.
