Clashes among hippies, Druids and the police have marred the traditional Summer Solstice celebrations at the Stonehenge Site in England. More police officers have been recruited to maintain security around the ancient monument's site. In addition, a four-mile exclusion zone has also been erected to prevent further vandalism. The increased protection was warranted to protect Stonehenge's reputation as a prehistoric monument.
