Arthur F. Glass Jr.'s court calendar is full.
``At any given time, I'm handling about 100 different cases,'' said the Rensselaer County assistant public defender. ``I'll have 30 one day in Police Court and 10 pending another day.''
And that's for his second job. Glass also has a private practice. As a public defender, Glass is paid $28,000 a year by the county to represent people charged with crimes who cannot afford to hire a private attorney.
