Wrong, but it's a fallacy many people believe.
``Alaskan malamutes always have brown eyes. It's a characteristic of the breed,'' said Kitty Potter of Ballston Spa's Cold Creek Kennels.
Siberian huskies, a completely different breed of dog, bred for speed and more laid back, sometimes have the clear, blue eyes that people associate with the Alaskan breeds. The huskies may also have brown eyes or even one brown and one blue eye, she said, but malamutes ...
