ART AN AVENUE FOR EXPRESSION EX-BANKER'S WATERCOLOR PAINTINGS ON DISPLAY.(News)

PALMDALE -- The work of Palmdale artist Laneea Tolley will be featured in an exhibit that opens today at the Palmdale Playhouse Art Gallery.
A retired bank executive, Tolley does watercolor paintings that feature African-American themes.
``It gives me the freedom to express myself,'' Tolley, 47, said of her artwork.
The exhibit runs until Feb.18. A reception will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
