Sioux Falls, S.D. -- When Apple Valley lost in overtime to Eastview in the Class 2A, Section 5 semifinals in 2004, Eagles hockey players Matt Lundin and Dan Sexton figured their time together as teammates on the ice was over.

But thanks to the Sioux Falls Stampede of the United States Hockey League, the lifelong friends are having one final year together.

"When I didn't get drafted (in Sioux Falls), I thought, `That's OK, I'll play against him,'" Sexton said. "Then when I finally figured out I was coming here, it was surreal. ...
