Stark naked and effervescing, Pat Freyheit kindly welcomed a strange visitor into her private, tiled room at the Roosevelt Mineral Baths.
She had waited two years for a sampling of these waters after her efforts to get a reservation last year failed.
"This year we wrote to them," said Freyheit, her hair protected by a pale yellow shower cap. After her letter arrived, she was told she would need to call ahead for a reservation, a direction which panned out successfully.
