SOLDIERS GOT TULA AID, REPORT SAYS.(Main)

At least some of the 500 boxes of donated food, clothing and medicine sent from Albany to needy families in Tula, Russia, were not delivered to homes and ended up being given out at a Russian army officers club, according to a report in the international edition of Time magazine.
The article said that Tula officials, who promised to deliver the boxes to 243 needy families on a list sent to Albany, later decided they did not have the trucks to make those deliveries.
