The Bears are arguing "rest vs. rust" this week, and a prime case study is cornerback Nathan Vasher.

Vasher has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury but is listed as "probable" for Sunday's game at Detroit. He has practiced all week and has declared himself ready to play.

But the Bears are expected to be careful with him, just as they will be careful with all of their starters.
