What cultural bragging rights do the suburbs have over the city of Chicago? Starting next week, Chicago's suburbs have live access to New York City's Metropolitan Opera.

That's right, the Metropolitan Opera blew past the Windy City in favor of Lincolnshire, Woodridge and Crystal Lake for a brand new initiative to expand opera audiences. You can even munch on popcorn while you watch.
