Rs 27,000 crore projects for Cuddalore: minister

Cuddalore, Dec 31 (PTI) Rs 27,000 crore projects, including thermal power plants, port and ship building yard and petroleum refinery would come up in and around Cuddalore district, state power minister Arcot Veerasamy said today.

Inaugurating the 'Health for All' scheme in the district, Veerasamy said a 4,000 mega watt thermal power plant at a cost of over Rs 16,000 crore and another Rs 5,000 crore 1330 mega watt thermal plant would soon be set up by the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board.
