A GRANDFATHER has died after he was savagely beaten by burglars in his own home.
Ferozur Rahman, 83, was a onetime friend of the disgraced Tory minister John Profumo, who carried out his community work next door.
Mr Rahman was found in his bloodsoaked pyjamas in a groundfloor flat attached to Toynbee Hall, where the late Mr Profumo worked for decades after his fall from grace in the 1960s.
