Krasnoyarsk Railroad expects to carry more Rusal aluminum

KRASNOYARSK. Dec 28 (Interfax) - The Krasnoyarsk Railroad, a division of Russian Railways (RTS: RZHD), expects to ship more aluminum from Rusal's smelters in Khakasia and the Krasnoyarsk territory, the company said in a press release.

Shipments from the Sayanogorsk and Khakasia smelters are expected to increase by 102,000 tonnes in 2007.

Rusal in the middle of December launched the first phase of the Khakasia smelter with capacity of 71,000 tonnes. The smelter will eventually have capacity ...
