Robert J. "Bobby" Santos of Millis, owner of an automobile dealership and one-time race car driver, died Thursday at his home. He was 69.

Born in Needham, he later moved to Millis. He graduated from Norfolk County Agricultural High School in 1955.

Mr. Santos owned Farm Street Auto Sales for more than 50 years.

He was also a race car driver and won three Sportsman races and 23 hobby division races between 1961 and 1967. He retired from racing in 1973 after breaking his neck.
